NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Steven L. Nation, unmarried man, to Regions Bank d/b/a Regions Mortgage, on April 5, 2016, said mortgage being recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of DeKalb County, Alabama, on April 12, 2016 at Book MTG BOOK 2138, at Page 156. Regions Bank, the current holder, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the DeKalb County Courthouse, in Fort Payne, Alabama, on April 19, 2023, during the legal hours of sale, the following described real estate, situated in DeKalb County, Alabama, to-wit:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 8 South, Range 5 East; thence S 88° 45’ West 264.7 feet along the Quarter line for a point of beginning; thence S 6° 15’ East 696.7 feet to a point on the North ROW line of Highway #75; thence along said ROW line S 50° 50’ West 196.5 feet to a point; thence N 12° 40’ West 821.6 feet to the center of the creek; thence N 88° 45’ East for a distance of 260.9 feet to the point of beginning. Being a portion of the above described quarter, Section, Township and Range, DeKalb County, Alabama.
