DEFAULT HAVING BEEN MADE in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain Real Estate Mortgage executed by Jeffery White and spouse, Michelle White, the mortgagors, to First Southern State Bank, the mortgagee, which mortgage was recorded on July 26, 2016 in Mortgage Book 2152, Page 298 in the Office of the Judge of Probate, DeKalb County, Alabama; AND DEFAULT CONTINUING, notice hereby is given that under the power of sale contained in said mortgage, I will, on behalf of First Southern State Bank, proceed to sell on April 9, 2024, during the legal hours of sale; to-wit: 11:00 o’clock a.m. to 4:00 o’clock p.m., in front of the main entrance door to the DeKalb County Courthouse in Fort Payne, Alabama, to the highest, best, and last bidder for cash, the following described real estate situated in DeKalb County, Alabama, and described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Section 24, Township 5 South, Range 8 East of the Huntsville Meridian, DeKalb County, Alabama, run due West with the South boundary line of said Section 34, for 1369.80 feet; thence leaving said South boundary line run North 00 deg 45 minutes 30 seconds West for 21.10 feet to a point on the Northerly ROW line of County Highway No. 112 (60 foot ROW) for a point of beginning; thence run South 88 deg 14 minutes 30 seconds West with said ROW line for 192.45 feet to a point where said ROW line intersects the centerline of a stream thence run along said stream, having a chord bearing of North 44 deg 24 minutes 35 seconds West for 610.40 feet; thence leaving said stream run North 00 deg 08 minutes 50 seconds West for 873.60 feet to a point on the North boundary line of the Southwest ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of said Section 34; thence run due East with said North boundary line for 400.00 feet; thence leaving said North boundary line run South 21 deg 04 minutes 00 seconds East for 1066.45 feet; thence run South 47 deg 13 minutes 15 seconds West for 226.65 feet; thence run South 01 deg 45 minutes 30 seconds East for 154.70 feet to the point of beginning. Situated, lying and being in DeKalb County, Alabama. Said property lying in Section 34, Township 5 South, Range 8 East of the Huntsville Meridian, DeKalb County, Alabama.
Said sale is for the purpose of securing payment of the indebtedness secured by said Mortgage, together with the costs of foreclosure.
