FORECLOSURE NOTICE
DEFAULT HAVING BEEN MADE in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Larry Ray Walker, Jr. and wife, Keisha Walker; and Almous Calhoun, an unmarried man; and Benny Hunt, a married man,to Liberty Bank, which mortgage is dated November 10, 2014 and which was recorded on January 9, 2015 in Mortgage Book 2082, Page 88 in the Office of the Judge of Probate, DeKalb County, Alabama;
And default continuing, notice hereby is given that under the power of sale contained in said mortgage, I will, on behalf of LIBERTY BANK proceed to sell on February 20, 2019 during the legal hours of sale, to-wit: 11:00 o’clock a.m. to 4:00 o’clock p.m., in front of the main entrance to the DeKalb County Courthouse in Fort Payne, Alabama, to the highest, best, and last bidder for cash, the following described real estate situated in DeKalb County, Alabama, and described as follows:
Start at the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 8 South, Range 6 East; thence turn South 1 degree, 30 minutes East for a distance of 663.5 feet; thence turn North 88 degrees, 40 minutes East for a distance of 400.0 feet; thence turn South 1 degree, 30 minutes East for a distance of 318.0 feet for a point of beginning; thence turn North 88 degrees, 40 minutes East for a distance of 150 feet; thence turn South 1 degree, 30 minutes East for a distance of 281 feet and to the North margin of Highway #68; thence turn South 88 degrees, 40 minutes West for a distance of 150 feet; thence turn North 1 degree, 30 minutes West for a distance of 281.0 feet to the point of beginning. Containing .74 acres, more or less, situated in the Town of Crossville, DeKalb County, Alabama and being a part of a re-subdivision of Lots 1 and 2 of the A. W. Black Estate Subdivision as recorded in the above county probate office in Plat Book 6 at Page 17 and 103.
Said sale is for the purpose of securing payment of the indebtedness secured by said mortgage, together with the costs of foreclosure.
