FORECLOSURE SALE
Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Richard W. Johnson and Elizabeth A. Johnson, husband and wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. acting solely as nominee for Amerigroup Mortgage Corporation, a Division of Mortgage Investor Corporation, on August 16, 2003, said mortgage being recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of DeKalb County, Alabama, at Book 1153, Page 17; and subsequently transferred to GMAC Mortgage, LLC; and subsequently transferred to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC; PHH Mortgage Corporation s/b/m Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the DeKalb County Courthouse, in Fort Payne, Alabama, on April 15, 2020, during the legal hours of sale, the following described real estate, situated in DeKalb County, Alabama, to-wit:
All that certain parcel of land situate in the Town of Henagar, County of DeKalb, and State of Alabama, being known and designated as follows: Beginning at an iron pin marking the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 5 South, Range 9 East of the Huntsville Meridian run with the West boundary of said quarter-quarter-quarter North 1 degrees 21` 57” East 282.09 feet to an iron pin; thence run South 87 degrees 19` 33” East 113.18 feet to an iron pin; thence run South 2 degrees 40` 27” West 15.0 feet to an iron pin; thence run South 63 degrees 49` 55” East 45.84 feet to an iron pin; thence run South 8 degrees 37` 52” West 250.09 feet to an iron pin on the North Right of Way line (50 foot right of way) of Forrest Drive; thence run with said Right of Way line North 87 degrees 19` 33” West 122.83 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 0.9 acre, more or less, lying in and being a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 5 South, Range 9 East in the Town of Henagar, DeKalb County, Alabama.
Being the same property as conveyed from Larry Pruett and wife, Doris Pruett to Richard W. Johnson and Elizabeth A. Johnson, as joint tenants with rights of survivorship, as described in Book 558, Page 182, Recorded 07/19/2002 in DeKalb County Records.
