Benefit Singing For Kent Wilborn
A benefit singing will be held for Kent Wilborn and his family on Saturday, June 26, at 5:30 pm in Henagar Park. The singers will be The Believers and Heritage. A love offering will be collected and given to Kent’s family. BBQ plates, hot dogs, and drinks will be sold for donations.
Benefit Ride for SAM Foundation
The Wills Town Rats and the Sam Foundation will hold a benefit ride for the SAM Foundation on Saturday, June 26, at the Fort Payne Rotary Pavilion. Registration will begin at 9:00 am, with Kickstands up at 10:00 am. There will be food and raffles from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There is a $20 per bike entry fee. Rainsville Freedom Fest
Rainsville’s Freedom Fest will be held on Saturday, June 26, at the Field of Dreams in Rainsville, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be vendors, food, arts & crafts, free kids’ activities, entertainment, and fireworks.
Golf Tournament
Fyffe High School Softball and Baseball will hold a golf tournament on Saturday, June 26, at Eagle’s Nest Golf Course at Lake Guntersville State Park. It will be a 3-person scramble with a $300 entry fee per team. Each player will receive a bucket of range balls. Registration is at 7:30 am with Tee time at 8:00 am. Prize money (based on 24 teams): 1st Place $1,000; 2nd Place $800; 3rd Place $600; 4th place $300. There will also be prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin. Rainsville First Baptist 2021 Car Show

Free Hill Baptist Church
Free Hill Baptist Church will host a singing on Sunday, June 27, at 6:00 pm. The featured singers will be Chosen Generation. Everyone is invited to attend.
Blood Drive
The Town of Valley Head will host a Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 30, from noon to 4:00 pm in front of Town Hall. Visit www.bloodassurance.org/valleyhead to schedule your appointment. Be sure to eat a good meal, drink plenty of water, and avoid energy drinks before donating. Bring your ID.
Flarity Reunion
The Flarity Reunion has returned. It will be held on Sunday, August 8, from 10:00, am to 4:00 pm at the Fischer Rescue Building. Please bring a covered dish and old pictures. For more information, contact Ed Thacker at 256-997-6876. This event was not held last year due to COVID.
Third Saturday Sunset
Fort Payne’s Third Saturday Sunset season has begun. It is held on the third Saturday of each month until October. There are classic cars, live entertainment, food vendors, a kid’s zone, and numerous vendors set up in Fort Payne’s historic downtown district.
