June 12, 2023 – The Rainsville Freedom Fest is set to rock the town on Saturday, June 24, 2023, promising a fantastic lineup of live music, exciting activities for kids, and various vendors. With an array of attractions and performances, the event guarantees a day filled with entertainment for all ages.
Starting at 1:00 pm, the stage will come alive with the voice of Holley Griffith, followed by several songs from John Allen Jones at 1:30 pm. As the afternoon progresses, the talented Hugh Jack Bell will captivate the crowd at 2:15 pm, leading up to a rocking performance by Country Case at 3:00 pm.
For those who appreciate harmonious melodies and gospel music, the Alliance Quartet will take the stage at 4:00 pm, enchanting the audience with their remarkable vocal talents. Later in the evening, at 5:30 pm, the very popular group, Boys in the Band, will bring their infectious energy to the festival, ensuring everyone dances and sings along.
The Freedom Fest continues with an exciting time for kids to showcase their dance moves and have a blast with the Kids Dance at 7:00 pm. And at 7:30 pm, the highly acclaimed Shenandoah will close out the musical entertainment with their timeless country hits, leaving festival-goers with memories that will last a lifetime.
At 9:00 pm, the annual fireworks show will light the night sky, promising to be a colorful sight to behold.
While the live music performances and fireworks serve as the festival’s highlights, families will also find various exciting activities for children to enjoy. Kids are guaranteed a day of adventure and laughter, from face painting to balloon creations by Doc’s Magical Balloons to archery, laser tag, and even axe throwing. The Pirate Ship Bounce House, the 24-foot double slide, and the mechanical bull will provide endless entertainment, while the Toxic Meltdown, swings, Tub of Fun, and pony rides will keep children entertained throughout the day.
For those looking to test their skills, a cornhole tournament awaits at 4:00 pm. The tournament consists of two rounds: one where participants bring their partners and another with a blind draw. Registration is open for a fee of $10, offering the chance to compete for exciting prizes and showcase their cornhole prowess.
Car, Truck, and Motorcycle fans can enjoy the annual Rainsville First Baptist Church 2023 Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet. Registration will be from 3:00 until 4:00, with the awards ceremony at 7:00 pm with over sixty awards up for grabs.
Visitors exploring the festival grounds will find many vendors offering a wide range of products and services. From local artisans showcasing their crafts to mouthwatering food options and unique merchandise, the vendor area promises a delightful shopping experience for all attendees.
However, it’s important to note that no pets or coolers are allowed within the festival grounds. The organizers kindly request that attendees respect this policy to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
