On September 20, 2023, two community groups joined forces to bring beauty back to the DeKalb County Tornado Memorial. With the assistance of the Rainsville Garden Club, the Tornado Memorial Board worked diligently for hours, pulling weeds and cleaning the area surrounding the memorial at the DeKalb County Schools Coliseum.
