RAINSVILLE – The Rainsville Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Palmetto Flooring and Renovations to the City and surrounding communities with a ribbon cutting for the store. Palmetto is located in the Sand Mountain Plaza in Rainsville, close to Stop and Save and Kelly’s Kitchen.
Sand Mountain native Phillip Dendy is the new store manager. He said he was excited to be a part of this new adventure because he understands the roots of this community and wants to serve the area. The original company is based in South Carolina and has operated successfully for the past twenty years. Dendy said the owners looked forward to expanding the business in this area.
MVN spoke with Dendy about the business. Dendy said, “The company does all projects, from new builds to renovations. We have a full warehouse of flooring stocked, so we can get any flooring that is needed. We also have the crews to do the installation and any carpenter work needed for the project.” He added, “One of our goals is to compete well in this area’s market, and we are familiar with what other competitors charge.”
The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and almost any time of day or week by appointment. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 256-605-5729.
