The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting incident, with further charges pending through their agency.
Ider Police Chief Stephen Malone stated, “It’s an absolute miracle that after a shooting and a police pursuit through multiple jurisdictions and states, there were no serious injuries.
It shows the type of Law Enforcement Officers Sherrif Welden, Sheriff Cross, and Chief Beaudoin keep on their staff.
Thank God for these men and women who go above and beyond, putting their lives on the line for their communities they serve every single day.”
