Haymon Joins DCTC Staff
Joey Haymon joined the Career Tech staff. Haymon, a nineteen-year veteran teacher, joined the staff at the DeKalb County Career Tech Center in August 2019, as the new Dekalb County Assistant Career Tech Director. Haymon served as Sylvania’s Agriscience teacher for the past seven years, where he led a successful Agriscience and FFA program. A spokesperson for the Tech Center stated, “We are excited having Mr. Haymon in this leadership role and look forward to working with him as we strive to become the best CTE District.” As Haymon joins the Career Tech Staff, the Sylvania Agriscience and FFA program will miss a well loved mentor.
