Letters To Ukraine
To President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine,
Thank you for your willingness to fight for the right to be a free nation. I believe that your efforts will go down in history as having been the nation that prevented World War Three!!! This is my greatest hope and my greatest fear. Mr. Zelensky, I think your leadership must be an eternal and Godly inspiration, and I sincerely thank you.
I am so very proud of your courage and determination. There are many notices of the parallel circumstances to England during World War II. “…never have so many owed so much to so few.” I think all the free world believes this about you.
I believe the world will come to see Ukraine as the anchor of the free world once you have destroyed the evil of authoritarianism and communism and Mr. Putin. I am ashamed that we have relinquished that position here in the United States. I hope that the whole world is becoming a better world due to your determination and sacrifices.
I pray for your success Ukraine. Your blood and your lives, your terrible suffering and grief, and your success may very well pay for the freedom of my children and grandchildren as well as the lives of all the freedom-loving people of this world. You can not fail; you must not fail… Mr. Zelensky, thank you for standing up for your country and making the world believe in Ukraine.
Thank you again, Ukraine! I believe that you have awakened many of us in the ‘west’ and have shown us an example of who we have always believed ourselves to be. May God have mercy and grace on you, Ukraine.
Sincerely,
Dale Patton,
Pine Ridge, Alabama
