Caden Millican grabbed his second double-double of the young season as Plainview defeated area foe Pisgah Friday night at home. The Bears struggled shooting from the field early but began to warm up in the second period and never looked back as Plainview took a 48-24 lead into the half. Millican ended the night with 33 points and 16 rebounds. Other Bears in double digits were Koby Tinker with 16 and Jonah Williams with 12. The second half was more of the same as Plainview went on to win 93-48. Cole Millican grabbed eight rebounds while Tinker added six. “It was a great atmosphere for a high school basketball game,” said coach Robi Coker. “I thought we played with a little too much emotion early, but over the course of the game our depth really began to show. It’s a big win because it’s an area win and you want to host the area tournament to begin the post-season.”
