The Red Devils closed out regular season play with an 87-55 win against Valley Head last Thursday night.
Carter Wilborn led Fyffe with 16 points as the Red Devils recorded 28 points in the first quarter to the Tigers’ 14 points.
Hunter Robinson paced Valley Head with 14 points, including a 10-point second-quarter rally.
The Red Devils built a 56-33 halftime advantage. The Tigers netted 20 points in the third quarter in an attempt to narrow the gap.
Eli Butts sank 15 points, including three 3s for Fyffe. Issac Slaton added 13 points, Jess Mathews and Cooper Cox each finished with 12 points, Eli Carter had 10 points, Jess Burt netted a pair of free throws and a layup, Zane Lee had three points and Cole Thrash chipped in two points for the Red Devils.
Valley Head’s Ben Johnson added eight points, Lennon Pike and Ethan Webb finished with seven points apiece, Kolby Dupree had five points, Noah Hulgan added four, Cayden Collins and Ethan Smith posted three points each, and Hernan Moreno chipped in two points.
Fyffe had 52 rebounds and 16 assists, while Valley Head finished with 39 rebounds and nine assists en route to an 87-55 victory.
The Red Devils (11-9) kicked off Class 2A, Area 12 tournament play against area rival Collinsville (11-9) on Monday at Sand Rock High School.
The Tigers (6-17) took on Woodville (8-17) in a Class 1A, Area 15 tournament matchup on Tuesday at Valley Head High School.

Valley Head 53, Fyffe 37
The Lady Tigers bested Fyffe 53-37 last Thursday night at Valley Head.
Despite an early first-quarter advantage, Valley Head netted 15 points in the second frame en route to a 26-18 halftime edge.
Sophia Blair led Valley Head with 18 points, adding 13 second-half points. Carley Collins added 17 points, Emma Harrison sank a 3-pointer and added five more points, while Lila Jane McElhaney finished with five points, Gracie Black had three points and Jenna McKenzie chipped in two points.
The Tigers pulled away for good in the third behind a Blair, McElhaney, Lewis, and McKenzie rally for a combined 15 points.
Emma Twilley and Kendra Fay paced the Red Devils with 11 points apiece. Hadlee Powell added six points, Abby Reno had four points, and Emily Stephens chipped in two points for Fyffe.
Fyffe (8-12) took on Collinsville (13-5) Monday night at Sand Rock High School in a Class 2A, Area 12 Tournament matchup.
Valley Head (10-10) faced Woodville (15-10) on Tuesday at Valley Head High School in a Class 1A, Area 15 tournament play.
