NACC Holds Golf Tryouts
Northeast Alabama Community College is entering its 3rd year of competition in golf with the National Junior College Athletic Association and will be conducting a tryout for the upcoming 2019-2020 men’s and women’s golf teams. The event will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM on Thursday, May 9th at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course in Scottsboro, Alabama.
In order to participate in the tryout, prospects must bring:
1. Verification of a physical examination administered by a qualified health care professional within the past 13 months
2. Valid photo identification
3. Current golf resume reflecting past golf experience and accomplishments
4. Golf clubs and golf balls needed to compete and participate in the tryout.
Prospective athletes must meet all eligibility standards set forth by the National Junior College Athletic Association. Individuals who have signed Letters of Intent with another college are ineligible to participate in the tryout. Per NJCAA rules, prospective athletes may only participate in one tryout per institution in a calendar year. Scholarship and walk-on opportunities are available for prospective student athletes.
