The Plainview Lady Bears (9-0) continue to hold the No.1 spot atop Alabama Sports Writers Association’s recent high school softball ranking in Class 3A.
Sylvania (11-7) was among the other Class 3A nominees.
The Ider Lady Hornets post at the No.7 spot in Class 2A.
Fyffe 4-10 was among the other nominees. In class 4A Curry moved to the No.1 spot while Orange Beach fell to No. 2. The following top-ranked teams retained their positions: Class 7A Thompson, Class 6A Wetumpka, Class 5A Springville, Class 2A Wicksburg, Class 1A Skyline and AISA Macon East.
